Growing In Unity - Day One 2021
Encouragement Cards
Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I wanted to show a few encouragement cards I created. We all know we have our bad days and need a little reminder that we are not alone.
For the first card I created I used an itty bitty stamp set by Angie Blom called - "Stars In A Jar" which I thought paired perfectly with the Starburst background by Ann Butler.
I used a turquoise ink to stamp background and cut to fit on a2 card front. I then stamped and colored the jar and matted both in black ink. I also used the sentiment from the itty bitty set. Just because it says "itty bitty" does not mean they are lol.
----------------------------
For my second card I used one of my favorite Unity Stamp sets called "Planted" by Angie Blom. For this card I used a kraft cardstock for base and stamped image on white.
I colored the image with three Fall looking colors and took a marker to go around the edges...could not find my photo distress ink at time - go figure lol. I can't be only one that misplaces craft supplies.
I stamped the sentiment with the set and placed in the corner of the card. This is a fun card to mass produce since only needs three colors for image.
---------------------------
For my third card I chose to use one of a past Uniquely Unity Stamp kits by Angie Blom called "Whole Love Story".
This sentiment means a lot to me. Lord knows my life has not been a fairy tale by any means but I am thankful for those who have come into it and the experiences good and bad that helped me grow.
----------------------------------
I hope I have inspired you to send a encouragement card to someone you know. It's nice to know you are thought of and of course receive happy mail.
Please leave a comment daily on this blog.
I will pick two people at the end of my week to win a grab bag of 25 Unity Stamps....can't have too much Unity!.
Stay safe.
